RTC staff told to increase seat occupancy ratio

Guntur: APSRTC Guntur regional manager G Srihari hoisted the national flag at a programme held in the Bus Station in Guntur city on Friday on the occasion of Republic Day.

Speaking on the occasion, he reminded sacrifices made by freedom-fighters to get freedom and added that Indian Constitution came into existence from January 26. He said that Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu was developing the state and implementing the welfare schemes for the poor.

“There is a need to reduce losses and need to render better services in the RTC,” he said. The official urged the staff to strive to increase seat occupancy ratio in the buses and informed that Guntur region was ahead in reducing running losses.
