Awareness meet on self-employment begins
Chirala: “The St Ann’s College of Engineering and Technology initiated a three-day awareness programme on self-employment opportunities on Monday for the budding entrepreneurs, the final year MBA students in the college,” said the secretary Vanama Venkateswara Rao and correspondent S Lakhsmana Rao in a statement.
The college principal, Dr P Ravi Kumar said that the programme was planned in association with the Andhra Pradesh State Skill Development Corporation to create awareness among the students of business administration.
The APSSDC trainer, D Gopal was the resource person for the programme and explained about the various types of industries, process of setting up of industries, how to think to make those industries run successfully and about the concept of entrepreneurship.
The APSSDC district officer, Sanjeeva Rao, HoD of MBA Dr R Emmanuel, SPOC A Tirupataiah participated in the inaugural session of the programme on Monday.
