Traffic cops use swiping machines to collect fines
Rajamahendravaram: Traffic police are using swiping machines to collect penalties from the respective vehicle riders who were fined for violating traffic rules, as per the directions of Urban Superintendent of Police, B Raja Kumari.
With the cooperation of Traffic Deputy Superintendent of Police YV Ramana Kumar, traffic inspectors A Srinivasa Rao and G Satyanarayana have been collecting the fine amount through swiping machines. Thanks to the move, vehicle riders can now skip a visit to the traffic police station to pay the penalty.
Ramana Kumar said that ATM and debit cards could also be used to pay their penal amounts through swiping machines. He said swiping machines have been introduced for the benefit of vehicle riders to save them the inconvenience of visiting a traffic police station to pay their fines.
