CP interacts with Westin students

Vijayawada: Commissioner of Police D Gautham Sawang, has said today’s youngsters are lucky as they have been exposed to best things in all aspects of education when compared with his generation. He was the chief guest at ‘Coffee and Conversation’, an interaction with students of Westin College of Hotel and Business Management at a private hotel here on Thursday.

Sawang exchanged his views with students on social responsibilities, professional, personal and political experiences. When asked what inspired him to become a police officer, he said he aspired to be in Civil services. “I am enjoying the IPS job. History was my favourite subject,” he added.

When asked on how the youth should contribute to society, he replied that every human being can individually and collectively shape destiny. Every student should plan the course of their life.

The Commissioner also said that traveling was his hobby and preferd to holiday at North-Eastern States to enjoy nature. When asked about crypto currency, he replied crypto currency upsets the formal structure of currency and trade and had become a challenge to them.

The Commissioner handed over visas to students who got employment abroad. Westin College CEO Kodali Gopi Prasad, COO K Durga Prasad, principal P Chandrashekar, faculty, parents and students were present.
