Helmet enforcement in rural areas soon: Venkata Appala Naidu

Guntur: Rural SP Ch Venkata Appala Naidu has said they will soon launch helmet enforcement drive in the rural areas in the district in the backdrop of increasing road accident deaths in the district. He urged the two-wheeler riders, to wear helmets to avoid accidental deaths and save their lives along with others. 

He said the two-wheeler riders were neglecting the helmets. Some persons going for short distances were also avoiding helmets, which resulted in accidental deaths. He urged the two-wheeler riders to wear the helmet to avoid accidents and cooperate with the police. He said that the police would enforce compulsory helmet rule  in the rural areas.
