NES golden jubilee celebrations today

Guntur: The golden jubilee celebrations of Jagarlamudi Kuppuswamy Choudary College (JKC College), founded by Nagarjuna Education Society (NES) will be held on the college premises here on February 2 and 3. The NES was set up in 1967 and it completed 50 years. The NES golden jubilee celebrations will be held on Friday.  Supreme Court judge Justice Jasti Chalameswar and Assembly Speaker Dr Kodela Siva Prasada  Rao will  participate.

The JKC College golden jubilee celebrations will be held on Saturday in which  Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu, Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu will participate. 

NES president Dr K Basavapunniah said that the society first set up JKC College in 1968, SGVR High School at Perecherla, Telugu and English Medium High School in 1968, Dr KLP Public School, Guntur, EM School in 1983, RVRR College of Education, Guntur in 1983, RVR and JC College of Engineering in 1985, JC College of Law, Guntur in 1990, Chebrolu Hanumaiah Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2005, Madala Sakuntala Bhaskar College of Nursing in 2006 in Guntur.
