Gyana Yagnam begins tomorrow

Vijayawada: Chinmaya Mission Vijayawada, would conduct ‘Srimath Vyasa Bhagavad Maha Purana Thri Saptha Gyana Yagnam’ at its Suryaraopeta premises from February 4 to 10, announced Swami Prathameshananda here on Friday.

Addressing the media persons, Swamiji said that the gyana yagnam would enlighten the devotees on Bhagavad Maha Purana. He explained that the ninth canto would give the knowledge of Sri Rama Avatar, the tenth canto on Lord Krishna Incarnation, the purpose, and the way in which he had blessed the devotees. 

It also explains the glorious Leelas of Lord Krishna. The 11th canto would enlighten the devotees on the means to path for liberation, which was expounded as the essence of all Shastras. The 12th canto would explain the proof that Lord Krishna alone was the support to the entire world, he added.

He welcomed all the devotees to make use of the golden opportunity and get the blessings. Chinmaya Mission president Ch Mallikarjuna Rao, secretary C Sowmya, treasurer V Nagalakshmi and others were present. A poster of the gyana yagnam was released on the occasion.
