Inner Wheel Club golden jubilee function on Feb 6

Vijayawada: Inner Wheel Club of Vijayawada would celebrate golden jubilee year function at Hotel Mid City on February 6, according to the club president, G Reshmi Samaram.

Speaking to the media persons at Vasavya Mahila Mandali here on Friday, Reshmi said the club had completed 50 years and on the occasion of the golden jubilee year 2017-18, many programmes and activities were conducted at the club. 

Explaining the activities, she said 1,285 government school students from 50 schools were given spectacles, self-defence awareness was conducted for girl students, breast cancer awareness rally was organised, 19 teachers were given nation builder awards.

A poster was released on the golden jubilee celebrations. The club members, SaKala, Nooka Ratnam, B Sujatha, Y Nirmala, Sunanda, Vijayasri Gupta, G Revathi and others were present.
