Mahatma’s life history key to cure social ills: Justice Chalameswar
Guntur: Supreme Court judge Jasti Chalameswar urged the youth to study life history of Mahatma Gandhi and understand substance and use it to solve problems in society. He inaugurated Vignan’s Mahotsav in the Vignans University at Peda Vadlamudi in Guntur district on Friday.
Speaking on this occasion, he advised the youth to use substance in the Mahatma life history to solve problems and change the lifestyle according it. He urged the youth to make use of education to solve social problems and stressed on Gandhian way of solving problems. He expressed serious concern over the increasing unrest in society.
He explained significance of nonviolence and patience in life and said there was no better history than Mahata Gandhi life history. Vginan Educational Institutions chairman Dr Lavu Rattaiah said that youth should have capability to lead society. He suggested them to improve their skill to get better opportunities. He said there was need of leaders in all fields and urged the youth to improve leadership qualities.
SBI AP region chief general manager Mani Palvesan said that his bank was ready to sanction loans, if youth avail Central schemes. They started branches at Hubli, Bangalore to sanction loans under Start Up. Later, he distributed education loans to the tune of Rs 1.6 crore to the students. Vignans University vice-chancellor Dr MYS Prasad was also present.
