Jatara begins at Tundurru

Bhimavaram: The 56th Jatara Mahotsavam of Goddess Sri Mutyalamma Maremma Malakshmamma was started in Tundurru village of Bhimavaram mandal. Huge number of devotees participated in the Jatara Mahotsavam. 

To mark the start of the festival, the Dappu artistes performed their skills as the women and villagers carrying the Ghatam to the temple. The temple committee made elaborate arrangements for the Jatara. The Jatara would be conducted up to February 9.
