BC leaders meet Governor over Kapu inclusion in BC list

Kakinada: The Backward Classes Joint Action Committee (BC JAC) leaders met Governor Narasimhan at Raj Bhavan on Monday, opposing the inclusion of Kapus into BC list. The BC JAC leaders led by the Puducherry Health Minister Malladi Krishna Rao submitted a memorandum to the Governor. 

They explained the Governor that if the AP Government includes Kapus into the BC-F category, the impact falls on the real BC community people. They  explained that if the Kapu community gets five percent reservation, it would deeply affect the 144 sub-sects in the BC community.

The Governor assured them that he would pursue the issue and would forward it to the concerned. AP BC Mahanadu convener Kudupudi Surya Narayana, AP Yadava Sangham district president Kundala Sai, Ghantasala Venkata Lakshmi, GVR Naragoni were among others who met the Governor.
