EG website wins first place in country

Kakinada: The East Godavari district’s official website won the number one position in terms of its design, rich look and user-friendly support. The Union Minister of IT, Ravi Shankar Prasad launched the EG district website from New Delhi here on Thursday. The website was built under the Secure, Scalable and Sugamya Website as Service system. 

The IT minister appreciated the district Collector Kartikeya Mishra for taking care of website designing, and permitting it in the local language. He said that this site was number one in the entire 700 districts in the nation. The Minister further said that this EG district website’s rich design, high-resolution photos attracts a lot of visitors. 

He suggested the Collector that they should update the information on the educational institutions, tourist attractions and other important information to the visitors of this site. Speaking on the occasion, the Collector explained that he would take necessary steps to follow the same type of design to the rest of the districts in AP. District Informatics Officer Sayyad Usman also spoke about the website. JC Mallikarjuna, JC-2 Radha Krishna Murthy, Trainee Collector Anand and others participated.
