Andhra Cuisine Food Festival commences

Vijayawada: Food lovers can throng in at Hotel Fortune Murali Park to enjoy their favourite Andhra special recipes. Andhra Pradesh Tourism Authority presents ‘Andhra Cuisine Food Festival’ at Zodiac Coffee Shop which had started here on Friday.

Speaking to the media persons, Fortune Murali Park general manager C Sujith said that the week-long food festival would have special traditional and popular Andhra recipes, the Andhra people love to eat. He said that Andhra Pradesh was a blend of Mughlai Cuisine and rice was the staple food which they eat it with sambar, lentils and vegetables.

Hotel chef VR Chand said that there were many special food items for the food festival and among those were Bamboo Chicken Curry, Bamboo Chicken Biryani, Bamboo Prawn Curry, Bamboo Prawn Biryani. Arati Puvvu Kura (Banana flower), Mulakai Puvvu Chanaga Pappu Kura (Drumstick and Bengal gram), Shark fish curry, Paneer Kudumulu, Thatikai Kudumulu, Kobbari Kudumulu, Stuffed kakarkai Ullikaram, Pullattu, Ragai Sankati, Muntha Masala, Gutti Vankai curry, Gongura Mutton curry, Mentikura Tomata Annam, Bommidai Pulusu, Talakai Mutton curry were some of them.
