Helping Hands elect new members

Vijayawada: Performing funeral rituals for unclaimed bodies was a holy thing these days and that service should be an inspiration to others, said Nagarjuna University Journalism HoD Anitha.

She was the chief guest at the Helping Hands committee election and State conference held at Press Club here on Sunday.
Speaking on the occasion, she suggested the members of the Helping Hands to provide employment to the youth besides organising blood donation camps and other social service activities.

Miss Andhra-2018 M Swetha said that she was from a small middle class family and had struggled to achieve this position. As per parents wish, she would try to become a police officer. She assured to participate in service activities organised by Helping Hands and do her best and support the organisation.

Helping Hands state honorary president PV Ramana appreciated the youth for coming forward in service activates to society and praised the members of Helping Hands for the service irrespective of caste and politics besides allocating time for social activities.

The new elected members of Helping Hands are president M Siva Rama Krishna, secretary K Rajeswara Rao, vice-president P Siva Rama Krishna (Krishna), Sunil (Nellore), Ananth Karthik Shama (Visakhapatnam) and others.
