Sarvasiksha Abhiyan CRPs take out rally

Ongole: The Andhra Pradesh Cluster Resource Persons Welfare Association members, working under the Sarvasiksha Abhiyan demanded that the government resolve the issues being faced by them immediately. They conducted a rally from the SSA office to the district Collectorate and staged a protest on Monday.

Explaining the issues, the general secretary of APCRPWA, MN Gupta demanded that the government should regularise the services of the SSA employees and provide them equal salary for equal work as per the Supreme Court directions. He demanded the government should provide the EPF and ESI facilities to them and provide employment security.

He also demanded that the government provide 26 weeks of maternity leave for women. He asked the government to allocate 40 percent of the jobs in the SSA to the CRPs and also sanction TA and DA to them. The association president, G Srinivasa Rao, Kasturba Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya Teachers Federation state general secretary KR Malini Devi and others also participated in the protest.
