Awareness programme on polytechnic held
Ongole: The PACE Polytechnic College organised an awareness programme on the polytechnic course and its advantages for the Class 10 students on Wednesday.
The instructors explained the students about the Polycet and how to apply for the polytechnic entrance test, the seats available and the exam pattern.
They explained that the polytechnic entrance applications can be submitted through the website sbtetap.gov.in from March 19 from net centers, and the application fee of Rs 350 should be paid through AP Online or Mee Seva or payment gateway of the website. They said that the Polycet would be conducted on April 27 for 120 marks with questions from maths, physics and chemistry from Class 10 syllabus.
The polytechnic college principal, M Anil Kumar, secretary and correspondent Maddisetty Sridhar announced that free polytechnic coaching would be offered to the students from April 2 to 22. They said that free bus facility would also be provided to the students from Ongole and asked them to utilise the service.
