Students visit construction site for industrial exposure

Ongole: The second year civil engineering students from QIS Engineering and Technology in Ongole visited the construction site of Dileep Builders and Constructions Private Limited at Maddiralapadu, said the college secretary and correspondent Nidamanuri Surya Kalyan Chakravarthy and president Nageswara Rao.

The site project manager, Sushil Kumar Singh explained the students about the ongoing construction of canal. He explained about various types of welding and raft foundation, pile foundation and girders used in the construction. He clarified the doubts and answered the questions from the students before presenting the participation certificates to them.

The president, Nidamanuri Nageswara Rao said that these types of industrial visits would help the students in future as the AICTE was stressing the importance of industrial exposure. The college principal Dr CV Subba Rao said that the civil engineering students must have knowledge over the construction technology and asked them to never miss opportunities like this.
