Cops arrest 7 suspects during Kotappakonda festivities
Guntur: Rural Superintendent of Police Ch Venkata Appala Naidu has informed that during the recently concluded Kotappakonda festivities, they took seven suspects into custody based on the finger prints collected from 107 persons through the Apps.
He said that the police department handed over 25 children and nine mentally unsound persons to their parents. The cops used drones keeping in mind the huge rush of devotees and solved the traffic problem and took steps to avoid untoward incidents.
They also made arrangements for devotees who had darshan of the presiding deity of the Trikoteswara Swamy. He thanked the officials of police and other government departments, scouts, guides, NCC, NSS volunteers and NGOs who extended their cooperation to the department during the festival.
