Plea to provide better treatment to cops

Eluru: R Mahesh Kumar, Additional SP (Armed Reserve) has requested all the hospital managements to extend better medical treatment to the police personnel and their family members.

He conducted a meeting with various hospital management officials at District Police Office here on Thursday. The Additional SP discussed on the medical treatment extended by the hospitals and the cost of the treatment and other issues with the hospital managements.

He said that the meeting was conducted on the directions of DGP Malkondaiah to know the treatment and other issues.  He said steps had been taken up to implement the Health Security Scheme of police personnel. He suggested the management to inform the problems if any in regard to the cost of the treatment to be incurred by the police personnel under the health scheme. This would enable the officials to settle those issues immediately.

The hospital management officials thanked the SP, M Ravi Prakash and other officials for conducting the meeting. AR DSP C Vasan, Police Office Accounts Officer D Krishna Rao, Office Superintendent Narasimha Murthy Police Hospital doctor Deepa, Armed Reserve Inspector K Venkata Rao and others participated in the meeting.
