Awareness session on 'Adarana' organised

Rajamahendravaram: TDP MLC Adireddy Appa Rao has said that the state government is implementing many welfare schemes for BC community in the state.

Participating in an awareness programme on 'Adarana' scheme here on Friday, he said through the scheme the government was extending necessary help to BCs by giving tools etc. Adarana scheme would be implemented for all eligible BCs. Former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao had introduced the scheme for BCs and the Congress government set aside the scheme, he alleged.

Now, Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu was implementing the scheme for the benefit of BCs and for their uplift, claimed. The government was planning to enhance the skills of artisans of BC community.  Applications relating to this would be taken from April 1 and BC Corporation would execute this programme, he added. 

Mayor Pantham Rajani Sesha Sai informed that the TDP government was always thinking about the welfare of BCs since the party founder NT Rama Rao had assumed charge as Chief Minister. She advised the beneficiaries to avail the scheme judiciously. BC Corporation executive director Jyothi, TDP leader Adireddy Vasu, mandal development officer Ratna Kumari and others were present.
