Students come up with new ideas at science fair

Eluru: The inventions displayed by the students at Science Fair, ‘Inspire - Million Minds Augmenting National Aspiration and Knowledge’ (INSPIRE- MANAK) at Ramachandra Engineering College in Vatluru near Eluru have received applause from various sections of people.
The students prepared their exhibits with technological skills in the exhibition. 

The thinking of the boys and girls on the problems of society and solution to those problems with scientific methods has received compliments from the teachers and elite people. The students have displayed the projects under the guidance of their teachers on Food and Nutrition, Space technology, Agriculture, Communication system, Solar energy and industries. 

The interesting thing was that the students concentrated on the non-conventional energy sources during the exhibition. They mainly deal with the pollution-free energy production, protected drinking water production, garbage usage, sanitation maintenance, solar power production, curbing the adulteration of pesticides and fertilisers and eco-friendly solar village.

Koyyalagudem VSNEM High School student I Pawani, said that she had designed a balloon rocket with least cost as per the rules framed by Sir Issac Newton. “This will benefit the teaching personnel to explain the students in the classroom on space and rocket movements,” she added.  

Another student V Durga Sai of ZP High School, Gunnampalli in Dwaraka Tirumala mandal concentrated on the sound pollution control measures. The science project aimed at controlling the sound pollution was mainly concentrated on planting saplings, small silencers to the vehicles and setting up of industries far away from the residential localities. The students displayed various projects at the science fair.
