TNUS holds Mega Nirasana Deeksha

Vijayawada: The Telugu Nadu Upadyaya Sangam (TNUS), supported by ruling TDP politicians organised a Mega Nirasana Deeksha here  on Monday, demanding that the Union government fulfill poll promises.

TNUS district president K Reddamma said that the BJP government was showing discrimination towards Andhra Pradesh by cancelling Contributory Pension Scheme for government employees.

TDP Krishna district president B Arjunudu demanded that the Union government implement promises made at the time of bifurcation. He accused the BJP government of betraying AP with special package which was as good as Special Category Status.

MLC AS Ramakrishna said that the BJP government was testing the patience of AP people and appreciated TNUS members for participating in the protest.

TNUS state president Subhash Chandra Bose, Sramshakti Trade Union president Koraganji Jagan, TDP senior leaders K Rama Rao and others were present.
