Training programme for lecturers begins
Bhimavaram: A national-level lecturers training programme was inaugurated at Sri Vishnu Engineering College here on Monday. The College EEE department organised the training programme. The week-long programme was aimed at imparting training to lecturers on the modern methods in electrical and allied sectors. Dr Y Pavan Kumar of VIT, Amaravathi and N Nagasekhar Reddy of ICFAI, Hyderabad participated as chief guests.
Addressing the inaugural session, they said that the lecturers should be acquainted with the new systems and technology to adopt the teaching methods. This would be helpful to the students while teaching on the subjects, they said.
The college vice-principal, P Srinivasa Raju said that the lecturers of engineering colleges should utilise such a training programme which helps them gain more knowledge on new methods.
Lecturers from various engineering colleges across Andhra Pradesh, Telangana and other states participated in the programme.
EEE Head of the Department Dr Padmaja, programme coordinator Dileep and Sharat participated in the inaugural session.
