Ticket booking centres flourish
Rajamahendravaram: Travel ticket booking business is growing in the city. There are about 200 ticket booking centres located at different places. Many of them are using latest technology to increase their business and to deliver the best they can to the customers.
Speaking to ‘The Hans India,’ here on Wednesday, Padmavathi Travels chief Dokala Bindu Madhavi said that she took over the reigns of the travels after the sudden demise of her father, two years ago. “Plans are afoot to open a branch in Ramachandrapuram shortly. I want to develop the business in the city. Ticket reservations are available for rail, flight and bus. A majority of customers reserve tickets to Hyderabad. Reservations are also made for darshans and accommodation at Tirumala Tirupati Devastanams,” she said.
Explaining about activities of the agency, she said phone calls were also accepted to reserve tickets for the customers. “New customers are coming to the travels in addition to the regular customers. Looking after the business infused confidence in me and we are planning to do something innovative in the city. My family members give their full cooperation to run the business,” Bindu Madhavi elaborated.
Women should do something that’s makes her financially independent enough to help their family. Abundant opportunities are available for women in this regard, she added. Her father was known as ‘Railway Rama Rao’ for three decades in the city.
