Update: 2018-02-24 07:30 IST

Rajamahendravaram: BJP Media Cell in-charge and BC leader Dasyam Prasad has resigned to his post in protest against ‘betrayal’ of the party to the people of the State by neglecting it in the recent Union Budget.

Addressing a press conference here on Friday, Dasyam said that he had a good rapport with the local BJP leaders but at the same time he was unable to digest the injustice meted out to the people of Andhra Pradesh. He alleged that Prime Minister Modi and Vice-President Venkaiah Naidu had said that they would build a capital far better than Hyderabad. He regretted that the BJP leaders had now been paying a deaf ear to the demands of the AP state. He said that people had been asking him about the injustice to AP.
