Conference on waste management at ANU in Nov

Guntur: The eighth sustainable waste management conference will be held at Acharya Nagarjuna University from November 22 to 24.

This is going to be another feather in ANU’s cap. Andhra Pradesh Swatchh Corporation, Swachhandra Mission and ANU, Several National and international institutes and organisations like International Society of Waste Management, Air and Water (ISWMAW),  Jadavpur University, Centre for Quality Management System, Kolkata will be participating in the programme.

The Energy & Research Institute (TERI) New Delhi, Consortium  of Research in International Collaboration, Indian Institute of Science, Centre for Sustainable Technology, Bangalore, Korean City of Waste Management and Material Cycle, Japan will also take part in the event.

Officers from Municipal Administrations and Pollution Control Board are the members going to participate in this seminar.Prof GV Anjaneyulu, Director ISC, Acharya Nagarjuna University, Dr CL Venkata Rao, Executive Vice-Chairman, Swachha  Andhra Mission, K Suresh Babu, Chief Operating officer, Swachha Andhra Corporation and Prof SK Ghosh of Jadavpur University, Kolkata University have chalked out various schedules and programmes to make the event a grand success.
