MPs to build pressure on govt during Parliament session: TDP

Kakinada: Lok Sabha Member Thota Narasimham has said that the state government is planning to create employment through skill-oriented training to youth in the state.

He participated as the chief guest in the inauguration of the new office building of the district employment training constructed at a cost of Rs 19.6 lakh, which was released under MPLADS, on the premises of Government Industrial Training Institute (ITI) here on Friday. 

Speaking on the occasion, the MP said that different types of training would be offered to the youth at the employment training office. He informed that many industries require the skilled personnel for their industries and many industries would come in the future in the ambit of Kakinada Parliament constituency. He also said that to meet their standards, the youth should avail the opportunity and register their names in the employment office.

Speaking on the recent Union Budget allocations, the MP said that injustice was done to AP. He also said that even though the long-awaited railway project of Kakinada-Pithapuram (KKD-PTP) rail connectivity was proposed, no funds had been allocated in the budget. He informed that their party MPs would build pressure on the Central government against the injustice done to AP in the coming Parliament session which would begin from March 5. He said all the MPs would ask for the Kadapa Steel Plant and a Railway Zone.

Speaking on this occasion, district employment officer Vasantha Lakshmi said that they were providing employment through Job Melas. She informed that a Mega Job Mela would be held in  March. Kakinada MLA Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao, Mayor Pavani, Deputy Mayor Sathi Babu, ITI Principal Srinivasa Rao and others participated.
