EG remembers association with Sridevi

Kakinada: Noted film actress Sridevi’s sudden demise shocked people of East Godavari district, who have some memories of the famous actress.

Kadiyam, a village near to Rajamahendravaram, is famous for its nurseries. Actress Sridevi came here for her film shooting in Kadiyam nurseries. She had visited the famous Palla Venkanna Nursery in the district during film shootings. Sridevi visited the Venkanna nursery in 1983 and again in 1986. 

Kadiyam Nursery Association’s senior member Palla Venkanna expressed his deep grief over the sudden death of Sridevi. He said that she had been very humble and polite even though she was enjoying her top position in films. The East Godavari district remembered her and mourned her death.
