JAC rally on Special Category Status on Mar 13

Kakinada: The East Godavari JAC (Joint Action Committee) of Employees, Teachers, Labourers and Pensioners chairman Buriga Aseervadam made it clear that they have decided to conduct a rally to achieve the Special Category Status to Andhra Pradesh.

The East Godavari JAC conducted a meeting on SCS to AP at the NGO Home here on Wednesday. Speaking on this occasion, Aseervadam said that the BJP led government wounded the feelings of Telugu people by showing discrimination towards the newly-formed AP state. He also said that they had felt utter disappointment for not mentioning the Amaravati Metro in the Union Budget. He informed that the Finance Minister, Arun Jaitley had allotted Rs 18,000 crore to Bangalore Metro.

He also informed that a mega rally would be conducted as per the call given by their State JAC on March 13. The state government employees, teachers, advocates, RTC employees, Chamber of Commerce Kakinada members, student unions and others would participate in the rally. JAC vice-chairman Pasupuleti Srinivas, Bachhu Rajesh, Ch Ramamohan Rao, S Adi Narayana Rao, Degala Ramesh,A Kasi Viswanadham and others participated.
