RMC opens mobile counters for tax collection

Rajamahendravaram: Rajamahendravaram Municipal Corporation (RMC) Commissioner Vijayarama Raju has informed that they launched mobile counters for tax collection here on Friday.

Speaking on this occasion, he said that as part of reforms they had started the programme in the RMC. He informed that a mobile counter for collecting tax was opened at Siddartha Nagar High School in 47th division. He said that the public can pay their property tax, water tax and tax on empty and vacant lands here in these counters. He also informed that instead of going to e-Seva Centres or to the Corporation Office, they should approach the mobile counters. 

The Commissioner explained that they would establish such mobile counters in future in other divisions of the city. A sum of Rs 74,149 was collected so far from these counters. He also informed that they had established another mobile counter at the RCS Mills School in the 9thdivision.
