Prajavani applications to be cleared at the earliest

Rajamahendravaram: Sub-Collector CM Saikanth Varma has said that steps will be initiated to implement all the government welfare schemes for all eligible beneficiaries and selection of beneficiaries also be held with transparency. Receiving petitions from the people in Prajavani programme in his office here on Monday, he said ration cards would be sanctioned to the applicants if they apply for them. 

Many had been asking for houses, old-age pensions, handicapped pensions etc. All the benefits would be sanctioned in a phased manner, he said. The government provides houses in rural area to the applicants as there were no house sites left in the city. The government was very much particular to address all the problems received in Prajavani programme.

He asked the officials of various departments to sort out the petitions to imbibe confidence on the government and any lapses in this regard would be viewed seriously, he warned.
