‘Growth of girls hard to stop’

Guntur: Oracle software company director and social activist Tara Krishna Swamy said no force could stop growth of women in the country. She was addressing a meeting held at Vignan University in Guntur on the occasion of International Women's Day on Thursday.

She said that by birth girls possess a gift of being a woman. If women put in efforts in right direction, they would excel in all fields on par with men. Dr Vijaya Lakshmi urged the women to avail opportunities come their way in life. She stressed on importance of hard work in the life. Vignan University vice-chairman Lavu Srikrishna Devarayalu, university vice-chancellor Dr MYS Prasad were present.
