Jagan’s Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Guntur from Mar 12

Guntur: YSRCP president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy’s Praja Sankalpa Yatra will start in Guntur district from March 12. Speaking to reporters here on Thursday night, the party senior leader Botsa Satyanarayana informed that Jagan would enter into Bapatla from Chirala. He would pass through Ponnur, Bapatla, Kakamanu, Pedanandipadu, Uppalapadu, Narasaraopet, Pedakurapadu, Sattenapalli, Medikondur and Parecherla. 

Later, he would enter Guntur district. The pada yatra would continue in Tenali and Mangalagiri Assembly constituencies. It would cover 12 Assembly constituencies. He said that Jagan would hold public meetings, symposiums and activate the people.

Earlier, YSRCP leaders Botsa Satyanarayana, Ambati Rambabu, Ummareddy Venkateswarulu, former MLA Ravi Venkataramana, Lella Appi Reddy visited the GGH and consoled the diarrhoea patients undergoing treatment. They also met the hospital superintendent Dr DS Raju Naidu and enquired about diarrhoea patients’ health condition.

They demanded that the government pay medical bills to the patients undergoing treatment in the private hospitals. They wanted Rs 10 lakh ex-gratia to the kin of the deceased. They said that they would pay Rs 50,000 financial assistance to the kin of deceased. They demanded action against officials responsible for contamination of drinking water and submitted a memorandum to District Collector Kona Sasidhar.
