54, 554 attend Intermediate exam

Vijayawada: Out of 55, 703 total candidates who had applied for the Intermediate Public Examination, as many as 54, 554 candidates attended the examination at 159 centres across Krishna district, according to Regional Inspection Officer (RIO) Siva Satayanarayana Reddy on Monday.

He informed that 1, 269 candidates were absent for the IPE Physics and Economics paper II. As many as 1, 551 candidates were present for vocational examination.

He said that as usual, the examination started by 9 am at all the examination centres and no cases of malpractice or any untoward incident were reported from any of the 159 centres. He said that the examination was held at all the centres peacefully. On March 13, the Junior Intermediate students would attend for their last examination Chemistry and Commerce Paper I, he added.
