Collector sees farmers off to Delhi meet

Guntur: District Collector Kona Sasidhar flagged off the bus in which farmers are going to Delhi to participate in the Krushi Unnata Mela to be held in Delhi on March 16, 17 and 18.

At a programme held at Collectorate in Guntur city on Wednesday night, the Collector said that the government wants to double the income of the farmers by 2022. He urged the farmers understand the suggestions to be given by the agriculture scientists to get more yield with less expenditure. He stressed on need to use modern technology in agriculture. ATMA Project Director V Satyanarayana  was also present.
