KMC Commissioner inspects water storage tanks

Kakinada: KMC Commissioner Siva Parvathi, inspected the water ponds and water storage tanks that supply drinking water to the entire Kakinada city on Wednesday evening.

The storage tanks were under the maintenance of the corporation here.  She visited the Aratlakatta Cheruvu, and ordered the engineering staff to check water levels regularly during summer. She suggested them that they should be ready to tackle the summer demand of water supply in the city. She specified the staff that they should purify the water before supplying it to the homes in the city.

Later, she visited the Samalkot Lock. KMC’s engineering staff and others accompanied the Commissioner during her visit to the water ponds.
