YSRCP leaders conduct Manavaharam
Guntur: YSRCP leaders conducted Manavaharam across the district to extend their support to the non-confidence motion moved by the party to mount pressure on the Centre for Special Category Status (SCS).
In Krosuru under Pedakurapadu Assembly constituency, leaders under the aegis of YSRCP Assembly constituency coordinator Kavati Manohar Naidu, conducted Manavaharam and they demanded SCS.
Speaking on this occasion, Manohar Naidu said that development was possible with SCS. “That is why YSRCP is mounting pressure on the Centre for SCs and issued notice to move no-confidence motion,” he added.
Later, they cooked food on the road to registered their protest.They stressed on need to do justice to AP.In Repalle town, the YSRCP cadres led by Mopidevi Venkataramana conducted the Manavaharam to extend support to the party leadership. The leaders demanded that the Centre accord SCS immediately and keep up its assurance. They said that entrepreneurs would set up industrial units and employment opportunities would improve once the State gets SCS.
In Sattenapalli town, the YSRCP activists led by official spokesman Ambati Ramabu conducted Manavaharam and extended their support to the party.
Speaking on this occasion, Amabati Rambabu said that the YSRCP was committed for SCS from the beginning and conducting agitations to mount pressure on the Centre for SCS.
YSRCP student leaders conducted Manavaharam at ANU main gate on Monday and extended support to the non-confidence motion moved by the YSRCP MPs. Speaking on this occasion, YSRCP students wing leader Angirekula Aadinarayana said that YS Jagan Mohan Reddy was fighting for the SCS for the last four years and felt that development was possible with SCS.
He said that in case of need, the YSRCP MPs were ready for submit their resignations for SCS and intensify their agitation. He stressed on the need to fight for SCS irrespective of political affiliations.
