KLEF convocation tomorrow

Vijayawada: The seventh annual convocation of Koneru Lakshmaiah Education Foundation (KLEF) will be held on the college premises here on March 23, said Koneru Lakshmaiah University vice-chancellor Dr LSS Reddy.

Addressing the media persons here on Wednesday, Reddy said about 2,600 students would receive the degrees during the convocation. The chief guest of the programme would be Prof BVR Chowdary, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Guests of honour would be ISKCON Bangalore chairman Madhu Pandit Dasa and IT strategist and advisor Hema Gopal.
KLEF president Koneru Satyanarayana would grace the occasion.

Registrar Prof T Uma Maheswara Rao said that students who had successfully completed Ph D, M Tech, MBA, B Tech, BBA, B Com (Hons), B Sc Visual Communications and BHM during the academic year 2016-17 would be awarded the convocation degree. Gold and silver medals along with cash awards would be presented to the candidates who had secured first and second ranks respectively.

 He explained that there were 1,078 faculties which include 400 plus doctorates with 1:15 student-faculty ratio to mould the students industry-ready.  They had achieved 100 per cent placement for the last four years. A poster was released on the occasion.
