City boxer B Akhil selected for nationals

Vijayawada: A city boxer has been selected for the Second National Boxing Championship and a city coach was also selected to coach the women team of Andhra Pradesh for the same, said the Krishna District Boxing Association president and APBA joint secretary UV Raghavulu. 

B Akhil has been selected to participate in the Second National Boxing Championship in 91+ kg category and will represent Andhra Pradesh. Patti Isac of SAAP from Vijayawada has been selected as the coach for the state boxing team who will participate in the Second National Boxing Championship.

Krishna District Boxing Association vice-president P Vasu, secretary KV Chaitanya Kumar and treasurer B Balaji wished them all the best for the tournament.
