Canara Bank sanctions scholarships

 Bhimavaram: The Canara Bank, Bhimavaram branch has sanctioned scholarships to three students of Municipal High School at Chinranganipalem here on Friday.  The three students get Rs 5,000 each as scholarship by the bank.

Speaking at a programme, the chief manager of the branch, V Ramakrishna Rao said that as part of Canara Bank Vidya Jyothi programme, the scholarships had been given to the students.  

He suggested the students to get good results in studies to reach the goals. The bank would provide financial assistance to the merit students for their higher studies.
The school in-charge Head Master BV Gopinath and others participated in the programme.
