APTA felicitates merit students

 Kakinada: The American Progressive Telugu Association (APTA) felicitated two students of Ravi Degree College at Kapulapalem village on Monday, for their achievement in education. The APTA representative and TDP leader, Dhulipudi Venkata Ramana (Bobby) felicitated Galidevara Satya and Kolla Anusha for their meritorious performance in the examinations.

He said that Galidevara Satya secured 10 out of 10 in B Sc Chemistry examinations and stood first in the ANU (Adikavi Nannaya University) while Anusha secured 9.9 points out of 10 and secured second place at the university-level.

Bobby informed the gathering that APTA granted Rs 12,000 per year scholarships for these two students for all three academic years. The APTA would contribute poor meritorious students across the state.

 He reminded that on the 10th anniversary celebrations of the APTA on December 10, a total of Rs 1.5 crore worth scholarships were distributed to 450 students. N Murthy, DH Subrahmanyam, D Raju, Pampana Srinu and others participated.
