21 get jobs in VMC on compassionate ground

Vijayawada: VMC Commissioner J Nivas, gave appointment letters to 21 persons under compassionate appointment here on Wednesday.

One member each from deceased workers families were given job on compassionate grounds.
The Commissioner said that the jobs were given in the place of their parents and they should render their services to the VMC with dedication and honesty. 

In the wake of the vacancies created due to untimely death of some VMC staff, they were being filled with kin of the deceased, he added.Additional commissioner D Chandrashekar, manager A Naga Kumari and others were present.
