Collector felicitates CPO

Eluru: West Godavari District Collector K Bhaskar said that K Balakrishna, Chief Planning Officer (CPO) of the district has extended good services to the district.The Collector felicitated CPO Balakrishna at the priority sectors review meeting held in Collectorate here on Wednesday. Balakrishna is going to retire on March 31.

Speaking on the occasion, the Collector said that as the CPO Balakrishna chalked out an early plan to give proper information in time to the administration.

Joint Collector-2 MH Sheriff said that Balakrishna’s services were unforgettable and there might be a shortage of experienced officials in future as those seniors were retiring from the services.

CPO Balakrishna remembered that even he was from Andhra Pradesh, he discharged services almost in Telangana state. After the bifurcation of the state, he took charge as CPO in Eluru 18 months back. 
 
He thanked all the officials and staff for their cooperation during his tenure.
Horticulture AD Durgesh, Deputy Director Subba Rao, Markfed District Manager Nagamallika, NABARD Assistant General Manager Rama Prabhu and other officials felicitated Balakrishna on the occasion.
