MARRC signs MoU with DEULA-Nienberg

 Vijayawada: Malaxmi Agri and Rural Research Centre (MARRC) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with DEULA-Nienberg of Germany under which the latter will provide technical support towards skill development to the  former, empowering the farmers in the region with more modern and latest farming techniques. 

The MoU was signed and exchanged between founder and chief mentor of Malaxmi Group Harish Chandra Prasad and Chetana Siddappa, regional manager for Asia, DEULA-Nienberg Germany at the Cultural Centre of Vijayawada and Amaravati (CCVA) premises here on Wednesday.

Harish Chandra Prasad said MARRC was the brainchild of Malaxmi Foundation and the Corporate Social Responsibility wing of Malaxmi Group. It has established an Agricultural and Rural Research Centre in Chintalapadu village in Krishna district. He said MARRC focuses on filling the time, place and information gaps to make innovative, sustainable and affordable farming mechanisms to reach the farmers in every nook and corner of the country.

Chetana Siddappa said that DEULA-Nienberg was an agricultural academy that offers wide range of professional training and qualification programmes in the fields of agriculture, horticulture, driving school concentrated also on farm machineries, crafts and industry.
