Auto with Odisha students turns turtle
Darsi: An auto carrying students from Odisha turned turtle in Darsi mandal on Thursday afternoon. About five students were injured in the accident while the remaining escaped with small bruises.
On Thursday, a group of students went to Venkateswara B Ed College for an exam in Rajampalli in Darsi mandal and were returning from the center in an auto. At Kothareddypalem, the auto suddenly turned upside down and five people were injured in the accident while the remaining in the auto escaped with bruises.
The injured were shifted to the hospital in Darsi and discharged after first aid was given to them.
About 5,000 candidates from Odisha, Chhattisgarh, Bihar and other states are studying B Ed in nearly 70 colleges in Prakasam district. They came to Andhra Pradesh during exams time for every semester. As the B Ed exams were going on, hundreds of students reached Darsi to attend exams.
