Electric solar vehicle contest held

Bhimavaram: Yuva Sourabham, the Electric Solar Vehicle Championship-2018 (ESVC) was conducted at Sri Vishnu Engineering College for Women here on Thursday. The ESVC was going on at the college for the last three days.

On the third day, the young engineers who completed the technical test attended the “Design and Innovation” test. The judges of the championship checked the vehicles displayed as per the notes given by the young engineers. They also checked the standard of the material used for the vehicle. The judges also conducted the knowledge test on the designs among the students.

The judges conducted a test on creativity and knowledge of the students based on the subjects they learnt in the classroom and the creativity information that was used for the solar vehicle production.  The students showed their creativity in reverse parking mechanism, sensors usage, cooling system, vehicle tracking system and mobile applications.

Innolabz Chief Executive Officer Vijayaraju Ardhanari and expert officials of MRF inspected the vehicles displayed in the competition.
College principal G Srinivasa Rao, vice-principal and convener of ESVC P Srinivasa Raju, ISIE president Vinod Gupta supervised the event.
