Piratla Bhanu Murthy re-elected as Bar Association president

Pithapuram: Senior advocate Piratla Bhanu Murthy was re-elected as the president of the local Bar Association on Thursday. The elections for the bar associations recorded 99 per cent of the 134 electorate exercised their franchise.
 
Assistant Government Pleader S M Ali was unanimously elected as the vice-president and Bangaru Rama Krishna as joint secretary. Election of five of the executive body members was also unanimous. 

The following are the newly elected executives: President-Piratla Bhanu Murthy, vice-president-SM Ali, general secretary-A Kasi Viswanatha Reddy, joint secretary-Bangaru Rama Krishna, treasurer-PVSR Murthy, library secretary-Yeleti Suryachandra Rao, sports and cultural secretary – Konjarla Appa Rao, lady representative – M Satyavati, executive body members-P Prakasam, YVN Murthy, Mummidi Srinivasa Rao, S Krishna Veena and Churra Mano.

Senior advocates AV Rama Rao, P Ravi and BLD Dora officiated as returning officer. Several advocates congratulated the newly elected body.
