NISA to stage dharna in Delhi on April 7
Vijayawada: National Independent School Alliance (NISA) treasurer Madhusudhan alleged that officials have been harassing the managements of private schools in the name of rules and regulations of the government.
“About 45 per cent of students study in private schools and the managements of the private schools impart quality education,” he claimed. Addressing the media here on Friday, he said that the members of NISA from across India would organise a meeting on April 7 at Ramleela Maidan in New Delhi and would inform their problems to the government and ask for solution.
He said that the private school managements were providing all kinds of facilities to the students and to provide better education, NISA wanted the government to contribute some fund from the budget allocated to education. They demanded that the government spend Rs 2,500 per student studying in private and unaided schools.
He said that there were many rules and regulations for giving recognition to a private school and for yearly renewal and the officials were delaying abnormally making them suffer. He said in every aspect, the government was involving the private school management and leaving them no freedom them to do their work.
