Chandrababu Naidu tells officials to take up works under CFMS

Kakinada: Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu has directed the officials to take up all financial works in the government offices through Comprehensive Financial Management System (CFMS) immediately.

Inaugurating  CFMS from Amaravathi on Sunday, he said that CFMS benefits a lot to the people and the works can be completed quickly and also saves time.

The government had already introduced e-office, biometric along with linking up of Aadhaar cards to deliver the goods quickly to the people and the government was using technology in all fronts.

As many as 4,200 drawing and disbursing officers used to organise financial transactions through challan system and now there was no need of challans, he added.

Joint-Collector J Radha Krishna Murthi, district revenue officer SVS Subbu Lakshmi, deputy director of treasuries Bhoga Rao and other officials participated in the programme.
