YSRCP asked to fight against BJP instead of TDP
Ongole: The TDP state organising secretary Dr Nukasani Balaji asked the YSRCP to shun cheap politics and start real fight against the BJP, for the Special Category Status. He demanded that the YSRCP leaders stop verbal attack against the TDP and control the foul language.
Speaking to the media at NTR Bhavan here, Balaji said that the BJP had no guts to allow the no-confidence motion in the Parliament and attend discussion on it.
He said that the TDP, as an ally in NDA, had waited for four years to receive funds and projects to the state. But the BJP didn’t kept its promise. After four years of continuation of negligence of the Union government towards Andhra Pradesh, the TDP walked out of the alliance, he explained.
Balaji claimed that it was the call of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu that secured support of 150 plus MPs from various parties in the Parliament, and the support was increasing day by day. He said that in the fight against BJP in a phased manner, Chandrababu Naidu was in New Delhi now and would plan the next move depending on the political developments.
Balaji warned the YSRCP leaders like Vijayasai Reddy to control their tongue and shun foul language. He said that there were hundreds of posts in social media circulating that YSRCP received crores of rupees from fraudsters. But the TDP was wise enough to not use them against its opposition party.
